Trinity Dang
Director and Lead Counsellor
As an accredited counsellor, I strive to create a collaborative atmosphere where people of all ages, genders, expressions, and orientations feel welcomed and comfortable. I work with individuals and couples whose goals are to understand themselves better, understand one another, or overcome various barriers to happiness. I work with all issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, and relationships. I utilise an eclectic approach, as every person is different and complex. The modalities and approaches I use include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, and Strengths-Based approaches.

Experience
- Director of a family-run business for over 12 years that seasonally employs over 500 people. Focused on employee recruitment, process and system training and development.
- Crisis supporter at Lifeline for over two years helping those experiencing crisis, and suicide ideation
- Red Cross Employment Services, helping people who have been out of work due to injuries or disability to regain confidence.

Counsellor
As a personal mission, I strive to empower and improve other’s outlook and circumstances. I believe in being genuine and nurturing, along with professional and driven. My abilities extend to collaboration and communication. Working with people from diverse backgrounds has provided me with a deep understanding and awareness of differences in individuals. I work with couples, families and individuals experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions & adjustments, relationship issues and anger management. I utilise a pluralistic framework of counselling because each client is unique and may need different things from therapy.
